Thomas Heede

Went off to Ithaca College with several classmates, transferred to a 4 year accelerated business program for two years to Bryant Business Institute. Married the lovely Helen K. Adams my senior year and entered the family business shortly there after.

The marriage produced three wonderful daughters, Sharon, now a single mother working as a publicist in NY, Michele, a hotel manager in Boston, and Kristin a successful banker, mother of the greatest three grandchildren in the world, manager of the Weston Connecticut boys soccer team and major domo on their sail boat.

As so many marriages, this one didn't work, but has been a solid relationship since. Off to a series of relationship and finally after a number of years, met the love of my life and sadly lost my best friend and roommate to cancer a few years ago. Life can be cruel and unfair. We have all lost loved ones, good people, honest and caring and there are so many horrific people out there still walking around.

My business career has been widely diversified. We introduced several products from Sweden. Cranes, Construction Elevators, Mining equipment and enjoyed relationships with employees and customers, who I still miss. Sold the Company and, for the last 20 years have experienced a wide variety of interesting pursuits. For my "swan song" I have participated in developing a Technology for virtually eliminating pollution from burning of coal, natural gas and oil. We are currently trying to raise funding to commercialize the system and get out of the "poor house." Some times the most worthwhile pursuits are the most difficult.

Since graduating from Mamaroneck, I received my Diploma in the mail, as I had cut too many classes to attend the graduation ceremony, have enjoyed numerous sailing adventures. Cruising all over New England, the Windward and Leeward Islands, Sea of Cortez, Spain, Scandinavia, and a Trans-Atlantic Trip. Survived many years of Blue Water racing and several hurricanes. Still skiing and can't wait until I am 70 and can ski free. Fun is still a priority in my life.

Looking for a mate to finish life with. If anyone knows someone with a house in Tuscany, on the water, is financially capable of supporting a struggling older entrepreneur, has a sailboat, and likes to cuddle, let me know. Send picture of the house and boat to the above address.

I look forward to seeing you all in 2004.
